The Blues have notified us of a patch to the Beta, happening today:
"We will be taking down the Beta realms at 3:00PM Pacific time today July 28th 2008 to update to the latest build.
We expect this process to take from six to eight hours.
Thank you for your patience!"
We'll have updates as soon as they are available!
UPDATE: Both BlizzCon and WWI keys sent out : ) !
We have some information to share regarding the beta codes received by those who attended the 2008 Worldwide Invitational or the 2007 BlizzCon. These codes are going to be used for the Wrath of the Lich King beta test.
If you do have a beta code from one of these events, we urge you to register it immediately and without delay. Full details on how to register your code can be found here.

Apparently we just received notice from a WotLK Wiki reader that the BlizzCon tickets are for WotLK. Going to quote him. I cannot assure this is 100% true it is only 1 person so far claiming, but please correct me if this is not true.

" Just spoke with billing support (my wife's Blizzcon key said "Already claimed!" so I was calling them about that). And the guy on the phone said, and I'll quote as best I can: "Those BlizzCon invites are coming, from what I know they were at the top of the list. I believe they only sent out a few test invites to start with, but you should be getting yours soon. Once you get your invite, within 24 hours your wife should get hers as well, if not, email me and we'll go from there." He didn't know when the Blizzcon invites were going out, but he I said "So that's what the key is for then?" he said "Yep." He said the days/times of the invites are handled by the community team, not their team, so he didnt know when. So I'm stoked, sounds like we're getting in! I hope the guys in the billing group know what they're talking about. "

We're pleased to say the beta is indeed commencing, and the NDA has been lifted.
You can now find lots of great items, screenshots and videos from the Alpha at MMO-Champion!
You can find a ton of new items/quests on Wowhead!
Also, keep checking our Recent and Daily changes pages. We're updating the Wiki constantly with new info!

We're getting word that Beta testing will be beginning shortly and the client (3.0.1.8634) is now available to download for those who participated in the Alpha.

Official Beta site is live! And according to the FAQ, the NDA has been lifted.
We will be updating as fast as we can.

First off, we understand that things are moving slowly, and this is because there has not been any updates and we have confirmation from our personal source and from DK.info the F&F is over. (alpha forums post screenshot) However, we are not Blizzard, and we do not know when beta, will be coming. We would also like to note that we are not "withholding information in fear of the NDA". Please also refrain from sending us emails asking us how to log in, we are a wiki, not a private server.
Looking towards the future, we are continuing to add new features and doing so is a team effort. We have a small staff as of now, and would like to continue to expand it in preparation for the beta. So, if you enjoy formatting, or submitting new content that is formatted nicely, don't hesitate to apply. Please remember to make sure your email address is valid, as it is the only way we have of contacting you. We also like for members to stop by IRC fairly often, most of us idle there for a large part of the day.

Seeing the beta opt-in on the WoW Website is on-line, we're slowly preparing the Wiki for the Beta. When the beta starts the NDA will be lifted and we will have LOADS AND LOADS of information.
