Description

In their haste the Crusade will make one fatal error: forgetting to check the mine cars.

You are to return to Havenshire Mine, east of here, and locate the mine car that my minions have planted near the outhouse. Climb inside the mine car and a Scarlet miner will unwittingly see to it that you are placed safely behind enemy lines.

Once aboard one of their ships, use the cannons against them! SLAUGHTER THEM ALL!

Call the Scourge gryphon from the cannon when you are ready to return.

Completion

The entire Scarlet fleet wiped out in a matter of minutes! I will receive a commendation from the Lich King for this! All that remains of the Scarlet Crusade now are the denizens of New Avalon.

I'll set the fire starters and necromancers upon Havenshire immediately. You will carry my report to the Highlord!

Guide

Ride down the eastern hill from Death's breach toward the Havenshire Mines.

Just outside the mines you will see a sparkling Inconspicuous Mine Cart. Right-click it to jump in and hide. A Miner will spawn and start dragging the cart down toward the coastline, past the ranks of Scarlet Crusaders. Once the Miner drags the cart up onto one of the boats, you will be able to move out of the cart.

On the boat there are three Scarlet Cannons. Right-clicking a Cannon will let you enter the vehicle. Each Cannon has three Abilities:

Scarlet Cannon: A low fuel cost makes this mid to long range gun an absolute necessity in the field. Aim low and let it rip!
Electro-Magnetic Pulse: Using the energy of the Scarlet Cannon, a powerful point blank electro-magnetic pulse is emitted. All enemies in close proximity are obliterated.
Skeletal Gryphon Escape: Used to call down a Scourge Gryphon to return you back to Death's Breach.

Use the mouse to position the targetting sphere on the ground over an area with many Scarlet Crusader NPCs. Use the Scarlet Cannon ability to blow them up! Sometimes you may have to hit an NPC more than once to kill them.

Once attacked, the NPCs will begin firing on the Cannon and its health will begin to drop. Keep firing at them until they are all dead or some of them make it into melee range of the Cannon.

Use the Electro-Magnetic Pulse ability to kill melee attacking NPCs and blow them backwards away from the Cannon.

If you cannon gets to low health or you finish killing your 100 NPCs, use the Skeletal Gryphon Escape ability to take a gryphon back to Death's Breach. If you need to go back to the boat and kill more NPCs at this point, simply head back to the Mines and hop into another cart.

Once all your required NPCs are slain, talk to Prince Valanar in the central area of Death';s breach to turn in the quest.
