Kirin Tor

Summary

The Kirin Tor Faction is related to the city of Dalaran, found in the Crystalsong Forest sub-zone of Storm Peaks. Both Horde and Alliance can gain Reputation with this Faction.

A paranoid and ancient group of Mages and other spellcasters, the Kirin Tor have dedicated their existence to the collection of magical artifacts and information. They serve as the protectors of the magical city of Dalaran, having moved it from its former home at the base of the Alterac Mountains in the Eastern Kingdoms to its new location high above Crystalsong Forest.

Quests

Currently a few quests related to Dalaran City give Kirin Tor Reputation. (See a full list on WoWHead.)

There are also several daily quests related to professions. Each currently awards 75 rep. (Currently only Jewelcrafting is completely implemented).)

• Shipment: Bright Armor Relic (Dalaran/Jewelcrafting)

Additional rep can be gained from Normal-Mode Dungeon Daily Quests, which reward a choice of several reputation items, including the Kirin Tor Commendation Badge, which awards 250 reputation on use. Currently four quests which reward these items are available:

• Timear Foresees Titanium Vanguards in your Future! (Halls of Lightning)

Championing

In addition to quests, reputation can be gained through Championing. While wearing the Tabard of the Kirin Tor in any level 80 5-man Dungeon, Kirin Tor reputation is rewarded for each kill according to the following chart:
