Gothik the Harvester

Gothik the Harvester is a boss within the raid dungeon of Naxxramas. In Wrath of the Lich King, however, he appears in the starting area for the death knight class as a quest giver in Death's Breach

Gothik the Harvester is the second of the three bosses in the Military Quarter.

Also, he can be found in the instanced version of Acherus: The Ebon Hold. Here he is a questgiver in Death's Breach.

Gothik is a split fight in the beginning. There are two sides to the room: undead and living. The living side is where you walk into the room and the undead side is across the gate in the middle of the room. A melee group should be set up on the undead side, while casters set up on the living side.

The best group setup for this fight would be 5 people on each side with only one healer to each group. Each side needs one tank.

When ready to pull, anyone can hit Gothik, but be sure groups are to their sides already as the gate closes when he aggros. After a mob is killed on the caster side, the spirit of that mob will appear on the caster side. The idea of the fight is to not overrun either side.

Order to kill mobs on the caster side (order of importance):

• Rider
• Deathknight
• Trainee

Order to kill mobs on the melee side (order of importance):

• Rider
• Horse
• Deathknight
• Trainee

Continue killing mobs in the order above until no more spawn on the caster side. Shortly after, Gothik will port down onto the caster side. The caster side tank should immediately taunt and the casters can begin to DPS Gothik. Gothik will occasionally teleport to the opposite side. If the melee have not finished killing the mobs yet, let Gothik run through the gate so the tank on the caster side can taunt. When the melee group is ready and Gothik teleports to that side, the melee side tank can taunt. After about 6 teleports, the central gate will open and the group can kill Gothik.

Note to the caster side:

• A disease is cast at random on the caster side. It should be cleansed if possible to alleviate the damage that will need to be healed, but if no dispeler is available, simply outheal the disease.
