Cooking Secondary Effects

A variety of new Cooking recipes have been added in the expansion that allow not just buffs, but secondary effects. See the Recipes tab for more details. Here are a few examples of new effects:

Beast tracking. (Tracker Snacks)
Humanoid tracking. (Blackened Worg Steak)
Controlling critters mobs. (Critter Bites)

Cooking "Platters"

Some of the new items cooks will be able to craft are "platters," similar to Mages' Ritual of Refreshment. These items have Use effects that place items on the ground from which multiple party members can take food items.

Crafting Time

As of beta Build 8885, the casting time of many Cooking recipes has been lowered from 3.0 seconds to 2.0 seconds.
